Bestcom upgrades Old School Square to an ESI 50 Communications Server
Old School Square Cultural Arts Center, a Delray Beach land mark and long time Bestcom Customer needed a new voice mail system; their existing Dos voice mail was slowly failing. Bestcom had installed a Panasonic 576 DBS and an Amanda voice mail system in September 1999. Marc Stevens, facility supervisor asked Bestcom to give him a proposal for a replacement voice mail system. After crunching the numbers it became clear it was cheaper to replace the entire system with an all in one ESI Communication Server offering auto attendant, caller ID,voice mail and an ACD to streamline call handling of box office calls as well as a 5 year manufactures warranty. Marc “the transition took less than a day, the system was programmed when it arrived to match our business needs and it cost 60% less than the previous system, we are very happy”.
Old School Square Cultural Arts Center, located in the heart of charming downtown Delray Beach, was created thanks to the determination of a local group of citizens who saved the 1913 Delray Elementary and 1925 Delray High School buildings from demolition after they were abandoned by the Palm Beach County School District in the mid 1980’s. Over $7 million was raised to restore and re-adapt the facilities for use as a museum and theatre.
